Scholarships

Post-Secondary Scholarship

The ICANT/NU awards up to two scholarships valued at $1500 each.  This scholarship is available to post-secondary students pursuing further education in the Chartered Accountancy profession.

To apply, applicants must submit:

• a cover letter detailing reasons why they should be awarded the scholarship, extra curricular activities, future career goals, and their intention to pursue a CA designation,
• a recent transcript of grades, and
• current course load.

Applicants must be a resident of the Northwest Territories or Nunavut.

The second scholarship may be awarded on the same basis to an applicant of aboriginal descent.  This status must be identified in the cover letter.

DEADLINE:  October 31st, annually

The scholarship is usually awarded by December 31st annually.
