The Institute of Chartered Accountants of the NWT and Nunavut is a self-regulating, self-governing professional organization for Northwest Territories and Nunavut CAs. The Institute of Chartered Accountants Act gives the ICANTNU the authority to govern its members. Established in 1977, ICANTNU serves to protect the public interest and trust by upholding the Chartered Accountants Act and by providing financial leadership to its members. ICANTNU works in partnership with other provincial and territorial CA institutes and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) to support national standards and programs.
